Hi, I’m Dr. Stassi.

Certified yoga teacher. Lifelong educator. Recovering overachiever.

I help thoughtful, high-capacity humans slow down, breathe deeper, and reconnect with themselves — without needing to become someone new.

MY STORY

How I Found My Way to the Mat

For most of my life, I lived from the neck up.

Thinking. Planning. Producing. Leading. Teaching.

And while I genuinely love a good intellectual deep dive, my body eventually asked for a voice too.

Yoga began as a way to stretch tight muscles and calm a busy mind.
It slowly became something steadier — a rhythm of breathing, noticing, softening.

No dramatic mountain-top revelation.
Just small, consistent returns to myself.

Becoming a certified yoga teacher wasn’t about changing careers.
It was about expanding my calling.

Now I create spaces where people can pause, move intentionally, and remember that rest is not weakness.

Yes — not weakness.

HOW I TEACH

What You Can Expect

My classes are:

  • Gentle but grounding

  • Structured but spacious

  • Breath-centered (because breathing is underrated)

  • Supportive of your nervous system

You don’t need to be flexible.
You don’t need fancy gear.
You don’t need to “clear your mind.”

If your thoughts wander, that just means you’re alive.

We practice returning — not performing.

TRAINING & BACKGROUND

Credentials

  • 200-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200)

  • Certified through Yoga Alliance (YogaDownload Online Teacher Training)

I blend evidence-based understanding of the body with practical, accessible movement — and just enough structure to keep us from spiraling.
